We are the first Australian retailer of the ground-breaking off-grid HomeBiogas 2.0 digester. Designed and manufactured in Israel, this digester had been optimised for ease of installation and home use. It safely converts your kitchen scraps into biogas, which is captured for use in cooking, rather than being released into the atmosphere! Don't worry, it is not stored under pressure so it is safer than bottled gas! The first shipment of 10 digesters arrives around March 2018 so be one of the first to snatch one up!

About Us
Hi, my name is Theo, the founder and CEO of Backyard Biogas Australia. My wife, children and I run a community-oriented permaculture farm in the pristine Adelaide Hills. I work as a winemaker in the Barossa Valley. I have been a biogas enthusiast since 2010 when the only options for biogas at home were crude home-made devices for pioneers and enthusiasts. I am so excited to offer for sale what I believe is a watershed development in backyard biogas. Safe, easy and now affordable... It is extremely cool to cook your next meal using the scraps from your previous one!
